For years, Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) has been a game that many have loved playing. For a while, it had a specific connotation as being “nerdy”, but has gained a lot of popularity in recent years. And hey, it’s still nerdy but at least more people are joining in, right?
A lot of people are playing D&D now! In fact, based on Google Trends, D&D as a topic is more popular than it was back in 2004, and it reached its height in March 2020.
With a new influx of D&D players, it begs the question, “wouldn’t it be a dream if you could get paid to play D&D?”
I think so! Which is why I’ve created the No-Essay D&D Scholarship. Here are the details:
- Amount: $500
- Eligibility requirements: Must be a high school student, current college student, or graduate student
- How to apply: Simply submit a picture of you playing D&D. And if you’d like to include a funny or epic story from one of your D&D campaigns, I’d love to hear that as well!
- Deadline: End of summer (8/31/22)
- Winner Announcement: 1/1/2023
And that’s it! No essay required. Submit your application below:
I’m Alexander King, an RPG-enthusiast. Over the years, I’ve played everything from tabletop RPGs to world-building games, and everything in-between. I created The Daily RPG as a way to fill the gaps between games. There’s so much information that’s difficult to find in this space, and it’s my goal for that information to be more easily accessible.
